Ticket to Alam’s wife- Badals have rubbed salt on the festering wounds of the aggrieved Sikhs

Amritsar, Punjab (January 07, 2012): Firing a salvo against the SAD for allotting Malerkotla ticket to the wife of tyrant police officer Izhar Alam, the Dal Khalsa blamed Badals for rubbing salt on the festering wounds of the aggrieved Sikhs, who had borne the brunt of Alam’s repression during his stint as SSP, Amritsar.

Party head H S Dhami said despite Panthic outcry, Badals have shamefully added another blot on the image of the Badal Dal, by accommodating the ‘killer of Sikhs’ in the party rank and allowing him to contest by proxy.

He also took a dig at Badals for trying to hoodwink the Sikhs by mentioning her second name Nissara Khaatoon, instead of Farzana Alam in the official list of its candidates.

Expressing satisfaction that Congress has snubbed notorious cop Sarabjit Singh Virk by refusing him the Dasuya ticket, he said there’s role reversal. “Congress that is responsible for Sikh genocide has shunned bad cop Virk, while Badal Dal that claims to have fought against state repression has given political space to lawbreaker Alam in its lap”.

He called upon the peace-loving people and human rights activists to expose Badals in the forthcoming elections for showing scant respect for human rights. He urged Sant Samaj head Baba Harnam Singh Dhumma to speak out against Badal Dal’s this anti-panthic act.
