Chandigarh: Shocks of earthquake were felt in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi Jammu and Kashmir and other regions in northern parts of the Indian peninsula. The shocks were felt at around 16:30 pm.
Reports from various parts of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi that reached Sikh Siyasat News revealed that people felt shocks in Mohali, Ropar, Ludhiana, Tarn Taran, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, Panchkula, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Gurgaon, NCR Delhi and Noida.
The shocks of earthquakes were felt in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per reports the epicentre of the earthquake was in Pakistan.
