Earlier today, leaders of various Sikh organization struggling to implement the edicts of Khalsa Panth approved by Sri Akal Takhat Sahib against notorious activities of Dera Sauda Sirsa, addressed the Sikh Sangat gathered at Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo. Bhai Baljinder Singh Sirdulgarh (Ek Noor Khalsa Fauj) and Bhai Sukhwinder Singh (Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satikar Sabha) criticized Punjab Government and ruling Badal Dal for their alleged collaboration with DSS. Baba Baljit Singh Dadu made an appeal to Sikh Sangat to get people aware about this peaceful struggle carried by Panthic organizations and to participate in Jathas to seek closure of Salabarpura Dera.

S. Parmjeet Singh Gazi (Sikh Students Federation) appealed to Sikh sangat to be vigilant about fact less media reporting. He said that false and baseless rumors are popularized by Police and agencies under the name of ‘sources’ in various newspapers. He said that we must question the reporters who are working as a hand tool of Police and agencies in this regard.

Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema (SAD, Panch Pardhani) said that Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu is arrested by Punjab Police on false charges at the behest of Punjab Government to strike at expanding base of Sikh Organizations. He said that Punjab police’s statements regarding matters relating to Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu’s arrest are self-contradictory and the whole drama is staged to defame Bhai Daljeet Singh, their Party and struggling Sikhs. He further said that Punjab Government is doing ‘politics of terror’ to marginalize Sikhs in Punjab. “But we are committed to take this peaceful struggle to a logical end” he added.

Baba Charat Singh Nihang, Raja Raaj Singh (Malwa Tarna Dal), Bhai Amrik Singh Isru, S. Darshan Singh Jaga Ram Tirath and Balkaran Singh Dabwali (SAD, Panch Pardhani) were also present on this occasion.
