Baba Bakala, Punjab (August 12, 2014): It is learnt that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s conference at Batala on Rakhar Puniya was successful in gathering huge crowds.

According to media reports the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s conference attracted far more people than the ruling party Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and the opposition Congress party’s rallies on August 10.

According to news report published at YesPunjab.com, the AAP rally was able to get huge gathering despite the fact that not a single poster or banner of the party was visible anywhere in the town or along the highways and roads informing people of its political conference.

On the other hand SAD (Badal) and Congress party had put up banners and posters at every nook and corner of the town.

AAP organised this conference on the occasion of the ‘Rakhar Puniya’ annual fare in historic town of Baba Bakala where the ninth Sikh guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was discovered by a Sikh Baba Makhan Shah Lubana.

Whether the people came to hear Bhagwant Mann’s comic comments or whether to hear the AAP ideology, is anyone’s guess. In fact it was the first ever political rally of Aam Aadmi Party in the Beas-Baba Bakala area of Majha.Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) conference at Baba Bakala attracted huge gathering
