Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to hold state-wide protests against fake encounter killings of 2 AAP activists

Ludhiana, Punjab: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has termed the police-ruling party complicity in Jamalpur/ Ludhiana fake encounter killing of two AAP activists as a well-planned conspiracy. AAP’s Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur said that police involvement in the crime has already been established and it points to a well-planned conspiracy.

The Aam Aadmi Party has condemned the Badal Dal-BJP government for the Ludhiana killings, demanding a CBI probe into the incident.

AAP’s state convener Sucha Singh Chootepur also announced demonstrations to be organized by AAP in all districts of Punjab on Wednesday (Oct. 1).

“The party will launch statewide protests with peaceful demonstrations outside deputy commissioner offices in all districts on Wednesday to highlight the growing incidents of crime in the state,” Sucha Singh Chhotepur told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN).

He also demanded imposition of President’s rule in the state.

The AAP leader maintained that the fact that the killings of two young brothers – Harinder Singh (25) and Jatinder Singh (24) of Bhuapur village near Machhiwara was a pre-mediated murder has been acknowledged by the Badal government with the suspension of the Khanna SSP, the SHO and other police officials of the area.

Sucha Singh Chhotepur furhter said that all district units of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would hold a state-wide peaceful protest in front of DC offices in every district headquarters from 11am to noon on Wednesday, to demand dismissal of the Badal government. He also appealed to people to join the protest and said memorandums would be handed over to district deputy commissioners or at SSP offices.
