Jalandhar/ Amritsar: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has reported expelled it’s leader Jyoti Mann. Jyoti was AAP candidate from Jalandhar in Lok Sabha poll. The party has also suspended Bhai Baldeep Singh who was party candidate from Khadur Sahib.

While taking decision to expel Jyoti Mann and suspend Bhai Baldeep Singh, the Aam Aadmi Party levelled allegations against that duo were making “anti-party” statements.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha poll, Jyoti Mann received 2,54,104 votes and Bhai Baldeep Singh 1,44,521 votes. Mann was suspended from the party on March 29.

AAP disciplinary committee member Dr. Daljit Singh said, “Jyoti Mann’s services have been terminated and Bhai Baldeep Singh suspended. They have been making statements against party supremo Arvind Kejriwal.” Jyoti Mann also recently commented against Kejriwal on her Facebook page.
The seven-member state disciplinary committee voted for the suspension of both the leaders from the party.
Bhai Baldeep Singh said, “I am pained at the recent expulsions. I think disagreeing over the expulsion of some founder members shouldn’t be construed as anti-party activity. I will file my reply soon. I still stand by the party ideals. People, however, come and go.”

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is heading with autocratic lines of Arvind Kejriwal and ‘dissidents’ are being axed out of the party.
