Chandigarh: Official Facebook pages of Punjab AAP and the state Congress have posted the same video that takes a dig at the SAD-BJP run state government. Only difference is that the video on the Congress’s page titled ‘Punjab Da Captain’, is of 57 seconds duration, the video on the AAP page ends in 39 seconds – minus the bit in which Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh is promoted.

Political strategy firm Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC), which is handling the Congress’s campaign in Punjab, has accused AAP of copying the video from its page. The video was first posted on page ‘Moga Da Captain’ (https://www.facebook.com/mogadacaptain/posts/325996154402984) on September 6, with a message from Amarinder to join him for bringing back Punjab’s glory, from where it was posted on ‘Punjab Da Captain’ also the same day.

The video focuses on district Ferozepur. On AAP’s verified page it was posted on September 10, (https://www.facebook.com/AAPPunjab/videos/1126808284072495/) with a message that farmers of Punjab had suffered a lot and only Badal family had enriched.
