AAP trying to fabricate issue to take out political milage: SAD (B)

Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) talked to Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal’s advisor and senior SAD (Badal) leader Maheshinder Grewal over phone. He maintained that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was trying to make out an issue from a “pure lie”. He challenged the AAP leaders to begin out evidence against Bikram Majithia. He said that people of Punjab understand everything and such campaigns by AAP won’t have any effect. He said that AAP was trying to fabricate issue to take out political milage.

SSN had also tried to reach minister Bikram Majitha to get his comment on this issue but the phone call went unattended.

Notably former cop and alleged drug-lord Jagdish Bhola had named Bikram Majithia as kingpin of illicit drugs trade in Punjab. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) of India had also questioned Bikram Majithia in this regard.

Bikram Majithia had filed a defamation case against Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Sanjay Singh in the Ludhiana court of judicial magistrate on January 12, 2016. Sanjay Singh had recently dared Bikram Majithia to put him behind the bars. Sanjay Singh had said hat he continues to stick to his statement that ‘AAP will put Majithia behind the bars if voted to power as he is related to drug business in Punjab.’
