Ludhiana: Aam Aadmi Party leader H.S. Phoolka today slammed the move of the Badal-BJP led Punjab government to increase the salaries and perks given to the Punjab CM and his ministers.

Phoolka said that for a state like Punjab, which is reeling under financial burden, it is very sad that the ruling politicians keep on increasing the amounts paid to themselves, while the state has no money to pay the salaries of ordinary government employs or for any development works.

AAP leader demanded that this act should be taken back immediately and this is one of the issues which will be highlighted during AAP’s Cycle Rally being held from Ludhiana to Chandigarh on 29th and 30th March.

AAP also demanded that the government upholds the principle of last man first thus insuring that the lowest employees get their salaries first and if our politicians have any shame they should reduce their salaries and perks rather than increasing them.
