The case FIR no. 134/1995 was registered at Police station Kotwali Ludhiana under section 4 & 5 of Explosives Substance Act and section 25 of Arms Act.

The prosecution failed to substantiate its allegations against Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara in this case, which was one of the many cases registered against him after his arrest in 1995.

Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur told Sikh Siyasat News that the court of Arunvir Vashishta, additional Sessions Judge Ludhiana, acquitted the case after trial.

It is notable that Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara will not be released from jail as a result of this acquittal as he is facing trial in some other cases and is also undergoing imprisonment for life in CM Beant Singh execution case.
