Moga, Punjab (June 25, 2014): Days after SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar opposed separate SGPC for Haryana, Akal Takhat Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh on Wednesday (June 25, 2014), in a “political move”, warned Sikhs of Haryana, who are demanding separate panel for Sikh Gurdwaras in Haryana.

“The SGPC never turned back from any Sikh issue ever but it is unfortunate that some so-called Sikhs, who are hungry for political power, are conspiring by joining hands with congress to weaken SGPC”, Jalandhar based Ajit newspaper quoted Giani Gurbachan Singh.

“Such conspiracy can never be bothered anymore and they will not succeed in their misdeeds”, the report further added.

According to the report, A delegation of Sikhs of Haryana led by senior vice president of SGPC Raghujit Singh Virk met Jathedar Akal Takhat today and requested him to stop Jagdish Singh Jhinda and Didar Singh Nalvi from doing efforts to form separate panel for Haryana.

If anybody has any complaint, he should come to Akal Takhat and should stop anti-Panth activities lest Panth will never forgive them. Akal Takhat will act against those, who will try to divide SGPC or to weaken it?, the news report said quoting Akal Takhat Jathedar.
