AISSF challenges Rahul Gandhi to open debate on role of Gandhi family in 1984 Sikh Genocide

Chandigarh/ Punjab (October 26, 2013): According to information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), the All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) has challenged Rahul Gandhi for an open debate on the role of Gandhi family in genocidal attacks on Sikhs during 1984.
In a statement sent to the SSN, AISSF president Karnail Singh Peermohammad has indicted Rahul Gandhi for inciting hatred against Sikhs by reminding Indira Gandhi’s assassination during an election rally.
Speaking at a public rally, Rahul Gandhi had passed remarks confessing his anger against the Sikhs for the death of his grandmother without making any reference and feeling any pain about attack on the Holiest Sikh shrines Sri Harmandir Sahib and genocide of more than 30,000 Sikhs in November 1984.
Karnail Singh Peermohammad, President AISSF questioned Rahul Gandhi “Was your father Rajiv and his party was so angry that they organized killing of thousands of Sikhs in broad day light to avenge the death of Indira Gandhi”? Is Gandhi family protecting and shielding those leaders who lead death squads in November 1984 to kill Sikhs. ? Yes, the recent statements made by you, during rally in Churu justified the killing of Sikhs during 1984 just like your father who had said that “when a big tree falls, earth around it shakes”, stated Peermohammad.
We will protest and hold rallies at every location during Rahul’s visit to expose Gandhi family’s history of hatred towards Sikh community, added Peermohammad. Federation President also stated that AISSF will not allow Rahul Gandhi to further his political agenda at the cost of Sikh blood. Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh and Satwant Singh who gave up their lives to uphold the sanctity of Sri Harmandir Sahib are not terrorists as termed by Rahul but instead are revered as martyrs of Sikh nation. Those who organized and openly slaughtered thousands of Sikhs during 1984 under the leadership of Rahul’s father Rajiv, are real terrorists and they are being protected by Gandhi family.
Lashing out at Modi of BJP AISSF President stated that “he is acting as a wise man while his own hands are soaked with the blood of Muslims in Gujarat”. Modi does not have any moral right to use the denial of justice to the victims of November 1984 to attract votes added Peermohammad.
Pointing to protection given by Congress party to Kamal Nath, Jagdish Tytler, Sajjan Kumar and other leaders, Peermohammad stated that on November 01, victims of 1984 are filing the Genocide Petition before United Nations in Geneva to investigate the systematic killing of Sikhs during November 1984 and recognize it as “Genocide” under the U.N. Convention on Genocide.
