Akal Takht Jathedar takes notice of SGPC refusal to give Saroop of SGGS to Jathedar Nandgarh

Amritsar: Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh has taken notice of the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) officials’ refusal to give a Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib to Giani Balwant Singh Nandgar, former Jathedar of Takht Damdama Sahib.

It is notable that SGPC had refused to give a Saroop of Guru Granth Sahib to Giani Nandgarh after he was removed from his services as Jathedar by the SGPC executive. He was to hold a Sehaj Paath sahib in his house.

While condemning the act of SGPC officials the Akal Takht Jathedar reportedly asked the SGPC to take strict action against concerned officials.
