Amb Sahib Morcha to conclude with mutiple marches and functions; Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa seeks public participation

Amb Sahib/ Mohali (December 25, 2013): As per information after announcement of conclusion of Bandi Singhs Rihai Morcha today, Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa was admitted to Fortis Hospital for medical treatment.

Daily Ajit, a Punjabi vernacular published from Jalandhar, has published a series of programs which would mark the conclusion of the morcha that was initiated for the release of some Sikh political prisoners who were being kept behind the bars despite having completed the terms of their sentences.

According to Ajit Jalandhar: Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa has declared that he shall reach Akal Takht Sahib on December 26, 2013. He said that he will end his hunger strike only when Bhai Lakhwinder Singh and Bhai Shamsher Singh are released from Jail.

He added that as a concluding step a large Khalsa March shall be organized from Gurdwara Amb Sahib (Mohali) to Akal Takht Sahib (Amritsar). The march shall pass through Ajitgarh. Ropar, Nawanshehr, Phagwara, Jalandhar, Beas and Jandiala Guru before reaching Amritsar. He appealed the Sikh sangat to welcome the Khalsa March with Kesri flags, and appealed the global Sikh sangat to end their struggle started in support of his morcha.

As per information an Akhand Path Sahib is being held in relation to the morcha at Akal Takht Sahib and the Bhog will be held on 27 December.

According to Ajit newspaper: after attending the Bhog at Akal Takht Sahib Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa shall accompany the Khalsa march from Amritsar to Fatehgarh Sahib via Beas, Jalandhar, Phagwara, Ludhiana and Samrala. At Fatehgarh Sahib Gurbaksh Singh shall offer his homage to Sikh martyrs Baba Zorawar Singh Ji, Baba Fateh Singh Ji and Mata Gujari Ji.

From Fatehgarh Shaib Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa return to Gurdwara Amb Sahib (Mohali) and by the evening of 27 December he shall return to his Village Thaska Ali, Kukshetra based residence in Haryana where a Kirtam samagam shall be held.
