Amritsar: In a solemn tribute to the late Bhai Gajinder Singh, an Antim Ardas samagam is scheduled to be held on 13 July 2024 at 8 am at Gurdwara Shaheed Baba Gurbakhsh Singh Ji, near Akal Takht Sahib in the Darbar Sahib complex, Amritsar. Bhai Gajinder Singh, a prominent figure in Sikh activism and a co-founder of the Dal Khalsa organization in 1978, passed away on 4 July 2024 in Pakistan where he had been living in exile.
The Antim Ardas samagam, organized by the Dal Khalsa, aims to honor Bhai Gajinder Singh’s legacy and contributions to the Sikh community and the struggle for justice. Paramjit Singh Mand, acting president of the Dal Khalsa, conveyed the details of the ceremony, emphasizing its significance in commemorating a leader who dedicated his life to advocating for Sikh rights and sovereignty.
Bhai Gajinder Singh’s life was marked by a steadfast commitment to the principles of justice, equality, and Sikh sovereignty. His involvement in the Dal Khalsa, a key organization in Sikh political activism, underscores his role in shaping the community’s discourse on rights and freedom of Khalistan.
