Gurdaspur, Punjab: Bapu Tarlok Singh, father of Shaheed Satwant Singh, passed away yesterday at a hospital in Amritsar. Bapu Tarlok Singh’s family members said that last rites of Bapu Tarlok Singh’s body will be performed on Tuesday (May 12), as his son Swaran Singh is yet to arrive from New Zealand.

Bapu Tarlok Singh was undergoing treatment at Escorts Fortis Hospital in Amritsar for past few weeks where is breathed last at around 8 am on May 07.
Various Sikh personalities and representatives of Sikh organisations have expressed grief over the demise of Bapu Tarlok Singh.
