Chandigarh: Antim Sanskar of S. Jaswant Singh Mann, former secretary general of Shriomani Akali Dal (Amritsar) was held today at Sector 25 cremation ground Chandigarh. S. Jaswant Singh Mann had passed away on Monday at Fortis Hospital, Mohali.
Representatives of various Sikh organizations and leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) attended the Antim Sanskar of S. Jaswant Singh Mann.
Members of SAD (Amritsar) raised “Khalistan Zindabad” slogans as a salute to their departed leader.
SAD (Amritsar) leader Prof. Mahinderpal Singh covered the body of S. Jaswant Singh Mann with a “dushala”. Prof. Mahinderpal Singh said that the “dushala” had a tricolor flag of “Khalistan” on it and this “dushala” was presented by Jaswant Singh Mann to party president S. Simranjeet Singh Mann three years back during a samgam held at Fatehgarh Sahib to mark the birthday of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
AAP leader Sukhpal Khaira, SAD (A) leader Eman Singh Mann, former DGP Sarbdip Singh Virk, former DGP (Prisons) Shashi Kant, Dr. Bhagwan Singh, Dr. Gurdarshan Singh Dhillon, Dal Khalsa leader Satnam Singh Paunta Sahib, Advo.
