Apparent Phone Call by Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal Gets Leaked over Social Media

Chandigarh: A phone call apparently made by Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal requesting a person to ‘forget the past complaints’ and support him in elections gets leaked over social media. The Audio recording of the call is making rounds over Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp.
In this call a person (supposedly speaking on behalf of CM Badal) confirms the identity of the person to whom the call was made by asking that whether Gurdeep Singh was speaking and after getting affirmation he says that Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal wishes to talk to him.
Then another person speaks, whose voice matches with Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal and it appears that it was senior Badal himself. He urges the call attendee to support him during elections. He says that it was a prestige issue for him (Badal) and says that it was even so for the call attendee also.
But the caller gets mild response from Gurdeep Singh (Call Attendee) who even expresses his disaffection by complaining that they had been requesting him (Badal) to control local leaders who were harassing them. Badal requests the call attendee to forget the past and support him as he was personally making this call to him.
Seeing that the call attendee was not giving proper response the caller (Badal) insists that the attendee should make firm promise to support him in these elections. After getting (apparently) half hearted confirmation from call attendee CM tell him to make jarkar and himself recites “Fateh“.
