Arvind Kejriwal’s Car attacked in Ludhiana (Punjab)

Ludhiana: An update by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on his official Twitter handle revealed that the Aam Aadmi Party convenor’s car was attacked with sticks and stones in Punjab’s Ludhiana district on Monday.

In his tweet Arvind Kejriwal said, “My car attacked with sticks and stones in Ludhiana. Front glass pane broken. Badals n congress nervous? They can’t break my spirits.”

Another Aam Aadmi Party leader Ashish Khetan alleged that the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal)  the Punjab Police of being a mute spectator and taking no action when the goons attacked Kejriwal’ car.

The AAP leader said, “the attackers came within an inch of grievously injuring Kejriwal.”

The AAP plans to contest elections to the 117-member Punjab assembly in what will be its first major electoral battle after it was swept to power in Delhi in February last year.
