Chandigarh: Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha and Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda attained martyrdom on 9 October 1992 as they were hanged in Yerawada Central Jail, Pune for executing Indian Army chief Arun Vaidya. Arun Vaidya had commanded the Indian army during attack on Darbar Sahib Amritsar and other Sikh Gurdwara Sahibs in June 1984.
Today, on the martyrdom anniversary (Oct 9) of Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha and Harjinder Singh Jinda Melbourne based Qaumi Awaaz Radio has shared an audio article to remember these great martyrs of the Sikh panth whose martyrdom day is observed at Akal Takht Sahib annually.
