Bakhshish Singh and 3 others framed in Nabha explosives case acquitted by trial court

Nabha/ Patiala, Punjab (March 06, 2014): A Patiala court has acquitted Bakhshish Singh and three others in a case related to alleged plantation of explosive matter near a bottling plant in Nabha.

The court found that there was nothing to prove the charges against the Bakhshish Singh and others, namely Jasvir Singh, Pargat Singh, and Harjit Singh.

This case was registered under FIR no. 7 on January 18, 2010 at Sadar Police station, Nabha. Court decision in this case reportedly arrived on March 03.

According to police, the manager of the bottling plant had reported that three, or four men, had been seen standing near the plant wall along side a drum in which explosive matter had been placed.

In February 2010 the Police had allegedly kept Jasvir Singh under week long illegal detention before showing his arrest.
