Balkar Sidhu is reportedly backed by comedian- turned politician and AAP MP from Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann. He has decided to content Talwandi Sabo assembly election as an “independent” candidate.

It is notable that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had replaced Balkar Sidhu with a former lecturer Baljinder Kaur. AAP sources said that Baljinder Kaur filed nomination as AAP candidate from Talwandi Sabo today.

Previously, during Lok Sabha elections Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has replaced it’s candidate from Jalandhar at the last moment. AAP had granted ticket to a school teacher Jyoti Mann who had secured more than 2 lakh votes.
