Patiala: Sikh Political Prisoner Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana who was admitted to Government Rajindera Hospital Patiala on Oct. 7 was discharged yesterday. Rajoana was reportedly suffering from Dengue and he underwent treatment for four days.
He was sifted to Central Jail, Patiala under tight security by district police.

It may be recalled that Balwant Singh Rajoana is facing death penalty in Punjab CM Beant Singh assassination case. CM Beant Singh was assassinated on August 31, 1995 for unleashing region of state-terror against the civilian Sikh population of Punjab. In his open letters Rajoana said that CM Beant Singh was assassinated out of existential concerns of the Sikh nation.
