Batala, Gurdaspur & Amritsar police raided the house of Narain Singh Chaura

Batala/Dera Baba Nanak, Punjab (February 27, 2013): According to certain media reports a joint police party of Gurdaspur, Batala and Amritsar conducted a raid at the house of Narain Singh Chaura.

According to a news reports published by a vernacular named “Daily Ajit” – Bibi Jasmeet Kaur wife of Narain Singh Chaura informed that a large police party raided their house at around 3 am.
She informed that the police started searching their house and on being repeatedly asked about the purpose of whole process, a DSP rank officer told the family members that Narain Singh Chaura was arrested last night therefore the search was being conducted.
As per news report Jasmeet Kaur told press reporters that police took into their custody a computer, laptop and certain documents on the name of Narain Singh Chaura.
According the news report Jasmeet Kaur claimed that Narain Singh was living a normal life for last few years but police was trying to frame him in false cases.
‘On the other hand S.H.O. Harjinder Singh confirmed the fact of raid on the house of Narain Singh Chaura’, the Daily Ajit news report has added.
