Jalandhar: The local Sikh sangat of Jalandhar city have started a peaceful protest dharna at Kapurthala chowk in Jalandhar city seeking action against culprits of beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib in Sher Singh Colony which falls under Basti Bawa Khel area.
The Sikh sangat is also accused the Punjab government of inaction in repeated incidents of beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib in Punjab.
Meanwhile the police have registered an FIR against unidentified person at Basti Bawa Khel police station under section 295-A of Indian Penal Code.
