Beadbi of Gurbani in Union City park California, Police screening CCTV footage

California: An unidentified person reportedly tore up Gurbani pages from a “Gutka Sahib” in California, USA. According to American Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee co-ordinator Pritpal Singh an unidentified person tore up Sukhmani Sahib Gutka in a popular square in Union City park in California in front of public.
“This is a popular place where people often meet and this person came, showed Gutka to everyone, and tore it up in front of them,” he said adding that immediately city’s Mayor and police officials arrived at the scene to investigate into the incident.
Beadbi incident worries California Sikhs
As per media reports the police was investigating the incident with the help of CCTV footage.
In a written statement issued today the Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi) president Paramjit Singh Sarna has condemned the incident of beadbi of Gurbani in California. He said that the incident must be investigated thoroughly.
