Bikram Singh Majithia goes “missing”, media report

Moga, Punjab (June 23, 2014): According to a report published by Jalandhar based Ajit News Paper, ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal)’s minister and president of Youth Akali Dal (YAD) Bikram Singh Majithia is “missing”.

In his report, Ajit journalist Satpal Singh Dhaddey mentions, “Majithia is not missing from his constituency but he is also absent from his office at Chandigarh”.

“His supporters and people of constituency are feeling lonesome as Majithia is missing while his switched off mobile phone is adding more to their woes”, added the report.

“His photos are also missing from the advertisements being published in newspapers and hoardings”, said the report.
“There are remours floating in the constituency. Some are saying that Majithia is going to revolt in Badal Dal along with some MLAs while other says that Majithia has gone to some hill stations. Another remour is about his resignation also”, the report further mentioned.
Majithia has close-relations with controversies. He was in news for alleged involvement in drugs mafia, sand-gravel mafia during elections of Lok Sabha. He invited another controversy after he mentioned name of Jaitly in the Gurbani.
