New Delhi (June 13, 2014): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s India level convener Arvind Kejriwal has alleged that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) was trying to trap eight AAP MLAs from New Delhi to form government in the capital territory of India.

According to a news report published on the website of Ajit News Paper (Punjabi), Arvind Kejriwal claimed that BJP has contacted eight AAP MLAs and offering them to join BJP.

“The MLAs, whom BJP contacted, has informed me and we condemn the step of cheap politics of BJP”, added Kejriwal.

He denied that he had contacted with Congress to form government again.

AAP had witnesses surprise emergence in Delhi Assembly elections last year. After forming government in Delhi on external support of Congress party, Arvind Kejriwal had resigned as Chief Minister of Delhi ahead of Lok Sabha polls 2014. AAP faced total defeat in Delhi as all 8 Lok Sabha seats were bagged by BJP.
