The Black Prince Movie: Shabana Azmi bags Best Actress award at Los Angeles Film Awards for Maharani Jinda’s role

Hollywood, CA.: The Black Prince bagged many awards and received entries in different festivals of North America. The lead actor Mr. Satinder Sartaaj who played as Maharajah Duleep Singh was the attraction of the day at Cinequest Film Festival concluded this weekend.

Although over 100,000 attend CQFF, the three-block proximity of its state-of-the-art venues along with Cinequest’s renowned hospitality, makes the festival experience as warm and personal as it is electrifying. Cinequest presents over 90 World and U.S. premieres with groundbreaking innovations by 700+ participating filmmakers from over 50 countries each year.

Shabana Azmi who played Maharani Jinda won the Best Actress award at Los Angeles Film Awards. The Black Prince also won the ‘Best of Show’ award at Accolade Global Film Competition. Manchester Film Festival of UK recognized the film as ‘Best Production’.

Satinder Sartaaj awarded as ‘Award of Merit Special Mention” for his acting in the Accolade Global Film Competition.

18th annual Newport Film Festival also announced and selected the film for the festival going to be held from April 20th to 27th this year.

A historic film biopic on the poignant life story of the last King of Punjab – Maharajah Duleep Singh – also known as THE BLACK PRINCE, is set for its international release in cinemas on 19th May 2017.
