Chandigarh: As per the media reports Congress party’s vice president Rahul Gandhi reached Dera Radha Swami (Beas) on Saturday night to seek support of the dera for upcoming Punjab polls 2017.
Media reports say that Punjab Congress Chief Capt. Amarinder Singh was already present at the Dera to greet Rahul Gandhi as he reached late on Saturday evening.
Both Rahul and Amarinder reportedly also met dera head Gurinder Dhillon.
This is the second visit of Rahul to Dera Beas this year. Earlier he had visited Dera Beas in March. A day after Rahul’s visit in March, SAD president and Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal also visited the dera. Delhi CM and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal had also visited the dera in September.
