November 27, 2016 | By

Chandigarh: After the reported jailbreak incident in Nabha, Punjab Congress chief Capt. Amarinder Singh criticised the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) led government in Punjab. Amarinder Singh said that the jailbreak incident could not have taken place without complicity or connivance of Badal-BJP government in the state. He maintained that Nabha jail incident indicates that ‘law and order situation’ has collapsed in Punjab. He demanded imposition of Indian President’s rule in Punjab.

On the other hand Punjab Deputy Chief Minister and president of ruling SAD (Badal) – Sukhbir Badal has alleged that Punjab Punjab Congress chief – Capt. Amarinder Singh was playing into the hands of anti-India. To support his claim Sukhbir Badal said that Capt. Amarinder was “making wild and malicious allegations against the SAD-BJP government instead of rallying with the government to corner and confront such forces”.

Sukhbir Badal said that Capt. Amarinder should not politicise the jailbreak issue.
