Congress Government Faces Serious Charges of Patronising Party ‘Goons’ in Tarn Taran

October 17, 2018 | By

Chandigarh: The Congress government led by Capt. Amarinder Singh had formed a commission led by Justice Mehtab Singh Gill to look into cases of alleged political vendetta that were registered against its party workers by the SAD-BJP government. But now the Congress government itself is facing serious charges of patronising party goons and registering false cases against political opponents.

Sikh pracharak Bhai Sukhwinder Singh Rataul levelled these charges against the Congress party led Punjab government in a Facebook live video yesterday.

The pracharak who is presently in Siliguri (West Bengal) to preach in a children’s camp said that his brother was attacked by Congress party workers in their village in Tarn Taran district. He said that his brothers sustained grave injuries but the police did not register a case against the other party as they belonged to the ruling Congress party.

It is learnt that two brothers of Bhai Sukhwinder Singh namely Yadwinder Singh Rataul and Gurjeet Singh Rataul were seriously injured in the attack that took place about a week ago.

Bhai Sukhwinder Singh said that the Congress workers who had attacked his brother have managed to get a false case registered against his family.

Sukhwinder Singh said that he is not a supporter of any political party but his brother works for the Aam Aadmi Party in his efforts to bring in a positive change.

He alleged that the ‘goons’ who attacked his brother are being patronised by the Congress party.
