Congress Party heading for clear majority in Punjab; AAP and Badal-BJP fighting for 2nd place

Chandigarh: The Congress party led by Capt. Amarinder Singh is heading for a clear victory in Punjab. Capt. Amarinder seems set to return to power after 10 years gap.

As per figures updated by the Election Commisison of India IECI) Congress party has 5 seats while it is leading on 70 other seats.

Aam Aadmi party has won 2 seat and leading on 20 seats and its’ ally Lok Insaaf Party is leading on 2 seats.

BJP is leading on 3 seats and it’s ally SAD (Badal) is leading on 15 seats.

One independent candidate is also leading.
