Party spokesman Kanwar Pal Singh said they were aghast to note that the world was not listening to the cries and pain of the aggrieved Palestinian community. Slamming Indian government for not mounting pressure on Israel to immediately stop the bloodbath, he said “Even India, which claims to be friend of Palestine, was yet to take firm stand and condemn the barbaric attacks on Palestinians.

In his letter e-mailed to Head of Mission of Embassy of Palestine in New Delhi, he expressed their group’s deep sorrow and concern over the heart rendering killings of hundreds of innocent Palestinians including dozens of children and women by Israeli forces in Gaza.

“The stoic silence of the world community over the bloodshed of Palestinians is a grim picture and we feel the silence of World Powers has provided Israel a chance to play havoc with the lives of innocent Palestinians”, reads the letter.

While expressing his group’s solidarity with the people of Palestine and their cause, the leader of the Sikh nationalist group slammed the world powers for maintaining double standards and not taking practical steps to end the Israeli air-attacks on innocent Palestinians.
