He said the pain of the deadly attack of June 1984 is fresh and the wounds of the attack still simmer. Since Indian state ordered the attack, we don’t expect any justice from it, hence we appealed to international powers to intervene to deliver justice to innocents whose blood spilled in the premises of Darbar Sahib. However, he praised those Sikh warriors who fought to defend the sanctity of the shrine and laid down their lives.

Dhami while addressing the gathering said operation Blue Star was a defining event in Indian politics in the sense that it institutionalized anarchy and violence against the people as the preferred state policy and opened the path for such infamies.

Dhami said Operation Blue Star was not something sudden and unexpected, as it has been revealed recently. All lies, pretexts and disinformation spread by Indian leadership stand exposed. He said the complicity of then UK government has shattered the Sikhs. He said the entire truth has not been revealed.

Stressing on the unity move, he said we can achieve our goal while adhering to democratic and peaceful means if we together move ahead in one direction.
