Delhi Committee chief meets Prof. Devender Pal Singh Bhullar

Amritsar: The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjit Singh GK and general secretary Manjinder Sirsa met Sikh Political prisoner Prof. Devender Pal Singh Bhullar at psychiatry ward of Guru Nanak Hospital. DSGMC officials also held a meeting with Bibi Navnit Kaur Bhullar, wife of Prof. Bhullar.
DSGMC chief Manjit Singh GK said, “The DSGMC has always stood by Prof. Bhullar and supported him. We will continue to extend support till he is released from jail.”

Earlier, Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh, Damdami Taksal chief Harnam Singh Dhumma and other leaders had met Prof. Bhullar.
On Punjab BJP leaders’ objections on not taking them into confidence over shifting of Prof. Bhullar from Delhi to Amritsar, Manjit Singh GK said both the BJP and the SAD (Badal) were independent to take their own decisions. In reply to a question about parole for Prof. Bhullar, Manjit said the DSGMC was in favour of delivering all legal rights to Bhullar.
