Delhi poll result: Trends show Aam Aadmi Party heading for tatal sweep victory in Delhi

February 10, 2015 | By

New Delhi: Beating all favorable estimates by Exit polls, the Aam Aadmi Party is heading for a total sweep in Delhi Assembly elections. According to News Nation tv channel Aam Aadmi Party candidates are leading on 59 seats, while Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and associates are reduced to just 10 seats. Congress seems to get a total wipe-out as none of the party candidates are leading.

AAP senior leader Yogendra Yadav, earlier today, had claimed that AAP was likely to get two third majority. His claims is now supported by trends. Yogendra Yadav had said that AAP was likely to get between 51 to 57, but if current trends are translated into results, AAP is likely beat even this estimate.

Official trends available on Election Commission of India (ECI)’s website are as follows:

Delhi Polls

Bharatiya Janata Party 0 8 8
Aam Aadmi Party 0 58 58
Indian National Lok Dal 0 1 1
Shiromani Akali Dal 0 1 1
Total 0 68 68
