New Delhi: Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (DSGMC) today announced to send ‘Langar’ (free food) as part of humanitarian aid to earthquake hit areas of Nepal. It is notable that Nepal was hit by an 7.9 scale earthquake, which left more than a thousand dead.
DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK said that on the request of Indian government officials the Delhi government has decided to provide langar for 25,000 people on daily basis.
He said that Langar will be air-lifted from Delhi to Nepal’s earthquake hit areas.
