Ludhiana/Punjab (November 10, 2012): According to reports Dera Radha Soami Beas head Gurinder Singh Dhillon has held meetings with Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann and Panthic Sewa Lehar Chief Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal. Dhillon reportedly met both the Sikh leaders separately on November 09, 2012. It has been reported by various news sources that discussions to sort out the issue of Gurdwara Waraich near Dera Beas were held during these meetings. It is notable that Dera Radha Swami Beas has been facing the wrath of Sikh organizations and Sikh Sangat since the destruction of Waraich Village Gurudwara Sahib by the Dera. The Gurudwara Sahib was reportedly demolished by Dera to secure dera’s expansion.
According to reports SAD (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann had a meeting with Gurinder Singh Dhillon at his residence in his native village Sikanderpur near Sirsa in Haryana. As per available information the meeting between the two lasted for two hours.
There are reports that Radha Swami Dera head Gurinder Singh Dhillon himself went to Gurdwara Sahib at Dadu village in the district of Bathinda to hold a meeting with Sikh preacher Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal. He paid obeisance in the Gurdwara and had discussions with Baba Daduwal.
According to “YesPunjab.Com” (YP) news Iqbal Singh Tiwana, Chief Spokesman of SAD Amritsar and Advisor to Simranjit Singh Mann told YP that the meeting was held in very cordial atmosphere and both Baba Dhillon and SAD Amritsar president were satisfied with the end-result.
“Claiming that both Baba Dhillon and Mann have reached an understanding Tiwana said that S. Mann had issued an appeal to all the members of Committee to desist from issuing any statement on the issue as the matter stood resolved” YP news report adds.
“YesPunjab” (YP) news report further adds that: in a press release issued from Jalandhar by SAD Amritsar it was claimed that Radha Swami Dera head assured S. Mann that he had all the respect for Sikh Religion and they have been performing even their personal social functions in the presence of and with the blessings of Shri Guru Granth Sahib.
Simranjit Singh Mann is reportedly said that he would discuss the details of meeting with the members of a committee of Sikh leaders who had formed a united front on the issue. He asked the leaders not to suspect anything now and wait for Baba Dhillon’s return from abroad. He appealed to the Sikh leaders to contribute positively and let the matter be resolved.
The leaders include S. Gurtej Singh IAS, SAD Amritsar Senior Vice president Dhian Singh Mand, Panthic Sewa Lehar chief Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal, Bhai Kulbir Singh Barapind of Akali Dal Panch Pardhani, Bhai Kanwar Pal Singh Bittu of Dal Khalsa, Bhai Amrik Singh of Damdami Taksal Ajnala, Bhai Balbir Singh Mucchal of Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Committere, Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala, Sarabjit Singh Ghuman, Paramjit Singh Saholi, Satnam Singh Manawan, Bhai Baljit Singh Editor Wangar, Baba Rajpal Singh, Baba Soorta Singh, Manjit Singh Calcutta, Baba Mohinder Pal Singh and Raghbir Singh Sandhu.
It is perhaps first time in last few decades that Dera Radha Swami is publicly exposed to such an extent after the demolition of Waraich Village Gurudwara Sahib that Dera head is himself undertaking the task to repair the damaged image of Dera Beas.
