Discussing Report of Justice Katju Commission on Behbal Kalan Firing [TalkShow]

Chandigarh: A People’s Commission headed by former Supreme Court of Indian Judge Justice Markandey Katju was appointed by prominent Human Rights’ organisations of Punjab to hold an inquiry into October 14, 2015 police firing at Behbal Kalan. Two Sikh youth, namely Gurjeet Singh of Sarawan village and Krishan Bhagwan Singh of village Niamiwala were killed in police firing.

Justice Markandey Katju held probe into the incident and the commission issued its report in Chandigarh few days back.

Sikh Siyasat’s presenter Sukhwinder Singh talked to Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema of Sikhs For Human Rights (SFHR) and ex-DGP Shahsi Kant (who was secretary of People’s commission headed by Justice Markandey Katju) about the findings of the report and related matters.
