Amritsar: As per the media reports the appointed jathedars of November 2015 panthic gathering Dhian Singh Mand, Baljit Singh Daduwal and Amrik Singh Ajnala – today rejected the “tankhah” awarded to Cabinet Minister Sikander  Maluka by jathedar of Shri Akal Takhat Sahib.

On Monday they directed Sikander Maluka and others involved in the “ardas distortion” row to appear before them on January 24 to clarify their stance.

Designating the action of jathedar Shri Akal Takhat Sahib on Maluka as a mere “political drama”, Mr Mand alleged that the politically influenced Jathedars who have already been rejected and excommunicated by the Sikh Panth during the 2015 Sikh gathering for their controversial decisions have no right to pronounce ‘tankhah’.It was just a drama enacted by the Badal Dal to gain political mileage for Maluka. Furthermore Baljit Daduwal maintained that the Sikhs had been asked to submit suggestions before January 24 about the next course of action.
