Example – a short movie with big message

Chandigarh: A short film titled Example was recently released on YouTube. The film has triggered considerable response from netizens.  This film is directed by Pradeep Singh and Sarabjit Singh.

The movie’s story is based on day to day incidents where one could see that people often refer to negative example to justify their wrong deeds or shortcomings while ignoring positive examples. The end message of the movie says that we come across negative and positive examples and it is always a matter of choice that which of these examples one want to follow.

The movie is competing in Sikhnet Youth Online Film Festival. Description attached to the movie reads as follows:

The story of the film is based on the real events. We often meet people who are living a bad lifestyle by following the bad examples as their guide for life and we rarely meet people who are not only following the good examples, but are also implying those in their real lives as well.

Our characters of the film are based on such people from Sikh family who choose their lifestyle by following the pious examples; such as turban, kadda and more symbols associated with the Sikh Religion.
