Execute Civilians in Kashmir like KPS Gill did in Punjab: Indian Security Expert says on Rajya Sabha TV

Chandigarh: In a blatant advocacy of civilian executions in Kashmir Anil Kaul, a so-termed “Secutrity Expert” of India, the DNA of gunmen killed in Uri attack on Indian Army’s base should be used to identify local Kashmiris who should be killed in retaliation. Anil Kaul was one of the panelists in a prime time debate “Desh Deshantar” on topic “Uri attack & Response strategy” on Indian government run Rajya Sabha TV.

‘As KPS Gill executed relatives of terrorists (militants) in Punjab and it brought and end to the terrorism (movement) there and similar course should be adopted in Kashmir also’, Anil Kaul said [words in brackets are from SSN].

He welcomed the decision of the Indian government to conduct DNA test of the gunmen killed after Uri attack and said that DNA should be used to identify locals related to the killed persons. He said that India should hit the attackers at such a place where it hurts most.

Notably, the blatant advocacy of extra-judicial killings of civilians did not attract any exception from the debate host or the panelists – including Sheel Kant Sharma (former Indian diplomat), Uma Singh (Retired Professor of Jawaharlal Nehru University), Vinod Sharma (Political Editor of Hindustan Times) and Arfa Khanum Sherwani (Anchor, Rajya Sabha TV).
