Exit polls give 1 to 3 seats to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab

Chandigarh/ Punjab (May 14, 2014): Multi-phase polling for Indian Parliamentary elections of 2014, commonly called Lok Sabha elections 2014, is over. All eyes are now on results that are to be announced on 16 May, 2014.

Various exit-polls suggests that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to secured clear majority with BJP emerging as largest party.

Polling observers show that newly emerged and first timer Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got surprising response in Punjab.

According to exit-polls would get 1 to 3 seats in Punjab.

Prediction of various exit polls as regards Lok Sabha Election results in Punjab is as follows:

ABP News: Akali-BJP-5, Congress—7, AAP—1

AAJ TAK: Akali-BJP—6, Congress—5, AAP—2

TIMES NOW: Akali-BJP—6, Congress—4, AAP—3

INDIA TV: Akali-BJP—7, Congress—3, AAP—3

NEWS 24: Akali-BJP—5, Congress—3, AAP—5

CNN-IBN: Akali-BJP—9, Congress—3, AAP—1
