Fabricated Photo of journalist Surinder Sigh with Gurmeet Ram Rahim went viral

Chandigarh: A fabricated photo showing Punjabi journalist Surinder Singh with controversial godman and Dera Sauda Sirsa head Gurmeet Ram Rahim went viral on social media networks, particularly on Facebook. The “black-n-white” photo shows controversial godman and some other persons besides journalist Surinder Singh.

The photo carries text “Surinder Singh and Patarkaar and Sirsa Wala” and also passes certain accusations against journalist Surinder Singh.

The photo was proved to be a fabricated handiwork of some mischievous person, as Journalist Surinder Singh posted the fabricated photo along with original (colored) photograph which shows that some other person’s head was replaced with that of journalist Surinder Singh in fabricated photo.

Surinder Singh also posted a message on facebook saying “Whoever has prepared this photo is requested to order us as we can do better editing”.

Surinder Singh is a Punjabi journalist who used to host a popular show on Day and Night news channel. He is currently engaged in tv journalism under the banner of Talking Punjab and is know for being critic of ruling party of Punjab.
