New Delhi: Newly elected DSGMC president and a leader of Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) today deleted his controversial tweet about Christchurch massacre in which he had tended to put blame on victims.

In a tweet posted yesterday, Manjinder Singh Sirsa had endorsed Australian Senator Fraser Anning’s controversial remarks blaming Muslim immigrants for yesterday’s deadly attack on two mosques in New Zealand. Sirsa’s move had invited strong reactions of the Sikhs, who not only disapproved his comment rather condemned his views strongly.

But if my tweet on Senator Fraser Anning’s words hs hurt anyone; I humbly clarify I condemn all sorts of attacks & violence. It was never my intention to hurt any community“.
