Mumbai: Bollywood actor Amir Khan’s latest movie ‘PK’ has turned micro blogging website Twitter into a ‘warzone’. Hindutva elements and various Hindu organizations are calling for boycott of the movie. Hindu organizations are maintaining that the PK movie shows Hindu gods, particularly lord ‘Shiv’ into ‘bad light’.

Soon after the opponents of the movie made hashtag #boycottPK to trend on twitter, the supporters of the movie joined the battle by making #WeSupportPK trending on the micro blogging website.

Hindu groups have demanded the film be banned on the grounds that it promotes ‘Love Jihad’ and depicts Hinduism in an unflattering light. They base their accusations against the film on the Hindu-Muslim romance between actors Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput that forms a sub-plot of PK.

Hindu Legal Cell Delhi unit has moved a police complaint and director, producer and actor (Amir Khan) demanding action under sections 153A and 295A of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
