FIR Registered Against Unidentified Policemen in Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa’s Death Case (COPY OF FIR)

Kurukshetra: The Haryana police have registered an FIR against unidentified policemen in a case related to the death of Sikh activist Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa.

Gurbaksh Singh had jumped off a water tank in Thaska Ali village after the police tried to forcible bring him down. He was holding a protest on water tank seeking release of Sikh political prisoners who have completed minimum mandatory terms of their sentences.

The FIR No. 47/18 is registered at Ismailabad police station in Kurukshetra district of Haryana. This FIR is registered under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR is lodged on the complaint of Gurbaksh Singh’s brother Jarnail Singh s/o Ajit Singh.
