Chandigarh: Former Indian Army chief General Joginder Jaswant (JJ) Singh today joined Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal). He was included in the ruling party by party chief and Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal.
As per a written press release by Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) Sukhbir Badal welcomed J.J Singh (Retired Indian Army Chief) into SAD (Badal) fold and announced him as Badal Dal Candidate from Patiala Vidhan Sabha Constituency for upcoming 2017 Assembly Elections.
An event in this regard was held at SAD (Badal) head office in Chandigarh on Saturday 07th January, 2017.
