Four Years After Saka Behbal Kalan, Two Separate Events Held by Sikh Groups

Faridkot: On the fourth anniversary of Saka Behbal Kalan, in which the Punjab police had killed two Sikhs and injured several others, two separate events brought forth the internal divisions between the Sikh groups.

Notably, Dal Khalsa and Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann), who had joined hands for organising some joint events in past few months were on lead role in two parallel events held yesterday.

In one such event at organised at Bargari Dal Khlasa leaders along with Sukhpal Singh Khaira of Punjab Ekta Party were joined by Bhai Baljeet Singh Daduwal, who was declared as Acting Jathedar of Takht Damdama Sahib during November 10, 2015 Panthic Gathering at village Chabba.

At another event organised at Gurdwara Tibbisar Sahib in Behbal Kalan Village S. Simranjit Singh Mann, President of Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann), was joined by Bhai Dhian Singh Mand, who was declared as Acting Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib during November 10, 2015 Panthic Gathering at village Chabba.

Family members of Bhai Gurjeet Singh Sarawan and Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh attended both the Samagams at Bargari and Behbal Kalan.
